The 2016 QS World University Ranking ranked Erasmus University 1st in the Netherlands, 11th in Europe and 40th worldwide in Economics & Econometrics. In the 2016 Times Higher Education World University Ranking the subject Business and Economics at Erasmus University scored 3rd in Europe and 17th in the World.

At Erasmus School of Economics students have the chance to study and work together with students from all over the world. Student from 31 different EU nationalities and 52 non-EU nationalities are currently studying at Erasmus School of Economics.
Erasmus School of Economics is the largest school within Erasmus University Rotterdam. According to the statistics of 2016, there were 26.212 students officially registered at the University and 6.104 of them were following a Bachelor or (pre-) Master programme at our school. Students have the opportunity to join the Economic Faculty association Rotterdam, one of the most active study associations in Europe, or one of the 8 other study associations linked to our School.
